テーブルのリレーションシップが機能するためには、"キー フィールド" (多くの場合、関連する両方のテーブルに存在する同じ名前のフィールド) のデータが一致している必要があります。ほとんどの場合、これらの一致するフィールドとして、一方のテーブルの各レコードを一意に識別する "主キー" と、もう一方のテーブルの "外部キー" が使用されます。

「一致する」にこだわったあまりに、あらぬ方向に行ってしまっているような気がします。by matching data in key fieldsが「キー フィールドのデータが一致している必要があります」になってしまっているし。matching fieldsが「一致フィールド」ですか…。「突き合わせる」あるいは「マッチングする」と訳せばもっとスムーズになると思いますが。

A multiple table query combines information from more than one table by matching the values in common fields. The operation that does the matching and combining is called a join. For instance, suppose you want to display customer orders. You create a query that joins the Customers table and the Orders table on the Customer ID field. The query result contains customer information and order information for only those rows where a corresponding match was found.
複数テーブルのクエリでは、共通のフィールドの値を一致させることによって、1 つ以上のテーブルの情報を組み合わせます。一致および組み合わせを行う操作は、結合と呼ばれます。たとえば、得意先の受注情報を表示する必要があるとします。そこで、[得意先] テーブルと [受注] テーブルを [得意先 ID] フィールドで結合するクエリを作成します。クエリ結果には、該当する一致が見つかった行に対する得意先情報と受注情報が含まれます。
「マッチング」というカタカナ語は国語辞典にも載っているぐらいなので、「共通のフィールドの値をマッチングすることによって」でもいいと思いますが。あと、「1つ以上」には「1つ」も含まれるので、「複数テーブルのクエリでは、1 つ以上のテーブルの情報を組み合わせます。」は変ですね。
