ある翻訳書の中で見かけた表現です。「16バイト長」って、「長さ16バイト」と言いたいのでしょうか。16 bytes longをそのまま「16バイト長」と訳す人はたまに見かけますが、だったら「This bridge is 200 meters long.」は「この橋は200m長です」なのかと聞いてみたいものです。
通常のセクタ サイズよりもはるかに小さなデータ オブジェクトを効率的に保存する仮想ストリーム。一般的に、この仮想ストリームのセクタは、通常のセクタが 512 バイト長であるのに対して 64 バイト長です。
